Michael JohnHALL29th May 1935 - 10th August 2019 The family of Mike Hall would like to sincerely thank all those friends of Mike who attended his funeral service at the Babworth Crematorium on Thursday the 29th August. Mary, Chris and Christine, Nigel and Jane, Charlotte and Christine and Eric appreciate all the messages of condolence and support that they have received at this saddest of times. Mike's family would like to express its gratitude to The Directors and Staff of "G D Hall LTD" Funeral Directors of Retford for their first class service and to "The West Retford Hotel" for the staging of such an appropriate celebration of Mike's lifetime. The family also thanks all those friends in sport who provided such a memorable "Guard of Honour " at Babworth - A fitting tribute to Mike's career as a former Professional cricketer, Captain of Retford Cricket Club, Representative of The Bassetlaw and District Cricket League and a lifelong Sheffield United supporter.
